You better consider the weight of the baler vs. the weight of the tractor. Not sure where you're at, but if you're talking hillside use, there is always the possibility of a heavy baler pushing your JD around. Example: I just sold an old MF 12 baler which I used with a WD45 AC. I moved it with my AC B two weeks ago. The tractor could hold it back on a grade with no problem, however, backing the baler was another story as it had a tendency to jack knife and was difficult to control. Bottom line: follow the HP specifications of the baler manufacturer.
