I have a 4000 Ford 3 cylinder Diesel 72 model.I had water in the oil and oil in the water.I removed the head had it pressure tested and reinstalled. Then after using all summer the radiator busted at the top.I replaced the radiator, radiator cap,and thermostat.I have ran the tractor and drained the water from the block several times to get all the oil out of the water. Now I am losing about a gallon of water per hour of run time under a load. There is no water in the oil or oil in the water, where is it going? There is a few drips(of water)coming from the overflow on the valve cover,is this normal? I have filled with water and ran for about an hour several times, same thing. The tractor has always had to have ether to start, but runs good after warm-up.Is there anything left to try before a new head gasket? Thanks.
