Some of those dealers get pretty clever at fooling the manufacturer, but Case has been lenient and careless over the years. However, that situation could never get that bad without the manufacturer's reps "looking the other way" on a lot of things. Allis-Chalmers was more thorough on those matters, although the local rep could manipulate a lot of things and hide them from the company for a long time. Personally, I stayed on top of dealer inventory all of the time and tried to keep the dealers out of trouble - 'cause once you lose a dealer, you're out of business in that area.
