True but it really doesn' matter how much higher they are made to price the land if the owner doesn't want to sell it. Seems that they are saying well it is yours, we're gonna give you more than it is worth and your gonna have to take it. We are seeing this same thing happen here in Weakley County Tn.,The local power company wants to build a new office kinda centrally located and is using this new law to get the land. The land owner doesn't want to sell it but I guess he will lose the property anyway just because the government wants to make more tax money on his land. I guess if you think logically though it makes sense, I mean the government SAYS we own land, We get to pay for it, we get to take care of it and pay for the upkeep,But after it is paid for try not paying your property taxes for several years and you see whose land it really is. ( Notice all of the sarcasm in that statement) I personally hope the land owner here wins hi fight as I think the government has their nose in way too many things as it is.
