The 1456 is by far the best tractor of the three. It has the longest lasting motor and quality in assembly. The gears in the 14's would be the same but the 400 series motors in the 66 series are prone to cavitation [holes in the wet sleeves] and will not last half as long as the 407 in the 1456. As for the ta to get the advantage of it run it ahead so if you hit a tough spot you can pull it back and will retain power to pull tru it without down shifting gears.
