A 5610 and 5610 S had less than 100 lbs difference so will go with the higher number, 5610 at 5760 factory. Add for any weights including fluid in tires. Depending on the loader and bucket size add a 1000 lbs or so, then another 1000 for the trailer. Still well under my Duramax tow load. You did not say what you have in your 1 ton so hard to say there. Probably could load on a 16 foot with the bucket curled in. Would consider a 20 foot and if possible a goose or 5th wheel version. Brakes are a must. Also be sure to tie down front and rear with binders both ends. Good luck
