A friend's brother rebuilt a multi-power in a MF180 and it cost somewhere around $2000 in parts. Don't think he bought anything used and it needed a lot of stuff. Purchasing a new main shaft is what make it cost so much. I believe the original intent was to get by with only new clutches/gaskets which was projected to cost around $300.
