I had the honor of attending one of the best tractor shows this past weekend i've ever been to. In Cumming, Ga at the cumming fairgrounds. The city of cumming and surrounding county is home to 35 operational steam engines, more than thirty are steam tractors, not to mention the countless antique tractors, hit and miss engines, and other equipment at the show. Exhibits included tractors and steam engines running the saw mill, shingle mill, bakers fan, threshers, and cotton gin. They have the show annually the second weekend in November, and just to have started in 2001, it is well on its way to being one of the biggest shows in the southeast, if not the country. no other single county in the united states is home to more steam engines. The show is sponsered by the cumming antique power association, the show has great facilities and lots of public support. i encourage anyone who can to attend next year.
