Bill you are just plain shot plumb full of luck. I'm sure glad for you and Doug too. I'd tell you about my day, but there just isn't enough time. Just let it suffice to say that I was on the phone to Chadron, Nebraska, Steel Wheel Ranch, Tractor Barn in Springfield, every web site I could find trying to run down a spindle for a Norden front end so I can feed with the tractor. Right now mine is buried about 4 inches deep in the driveway with a bale of hay on the loader and not NEAR close enough to the shop. Oh well, ifn it was easy, everybody would be doing it. Great to see you and the dorgy. The cat still ok? Harley

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
