Just drive to where you want to hunt and then sit in the cab of the tractor. They aren't affraid of tractors, they know that they can run faster and probably never been shot at from one. About fifteen years ago I got some nice pictures of a beutiful muley buck and he let me drive up to him within twenty yards. He stayed still for about five minutes and then walked away. I know mule deer are different but sunday I was out in the pasture with the tractor picking up round bales and saw a doe with an average sized buck and then a big buck came along. I was within a 100 yds. of the the two deer and drove within fifty of the big one. None of the deer got excited at least not from the tractor. I was interesting though watching the three of them.
