Hi Old, 30yrs ago I was bow hunting elk in Colorado and came to a small clearing and I could here a crashing in the trees coming towards me so I stood still beside a tree. Well a squril couldn't stand that was in his area so he started chattering a few trees away. Well I didn't move and this made him nervous so he kept coming closer to my tree. I can still here the bull walking towards me while this squril is going nuts. This darn squril came down the tree I'm next too and tried to get on my shoulder just chattering like crazy in my ear. Now he's got me to thinking he's going to scare off my bull as I can't here the bull walking no more, so I un-nock my arrow to take a swing at the squirl and just as I swing the arrow I see a beautiful 5 point (that's a ten pointer for you Texans..lol) bull watching me from 45yrds accross the meadow and of course he ran off when he saw me move as well as the squril left. I hunted for two hours for that squirl and he never made another peep. T_Bone
