Are you competing against some other attraction or show on saturday or sunday? Are you having a labor problem because of lack of local interest? Running a successful show involves a major public relations push to get people to come and lend a hand. Most of the time the major work that goes in to a show happens on the week or two prior to the show and then the first two days of the show. The third day should coast along by itself if the load has been spread out among enough workers so they aren't burned out even before the show starts. I know moving show dates is tough to do without stepping on someone else's toes but it might be worth a try. A two day tractor pull might help if you can keep the sled over another day without paying for the second day. Our show is three days(fri-sun) and sunday is the second biggest day and friday is the smallest. We saw a drop in attendance when the state fair decided to move to the same time we have our show. It's 150 miles away but it still had some affect on us. This year the attendance was a little low, but every show we know of had the same problem. We don't know if it was the price of gas or what? Oh yes, we are in NW Iowa.Jim
