With the money you quoted I think you can do better. This tractor is rather short coupled and with a heavy bushog it will be light on the frontend. The brakes are one of its major weaknesses. From observing these tractors being sold at auction the resale is not a good as one would want. I am color blind when buying and I own a varity of makes. I do like value for my money and I suggest that you look for a solid 40 hp used diesel tractor. My recommendation would be something with wet brakes, power steering,remote hydraulics,established dealership. Look at a 3610 Ford's features. It is cheaper than a JD,more features and better value than the MF, Dealer and after market supported,simple and easy to maintain,holds it value and is always marketable.
