I could be wrong ,but I think the original studs are hot rolled steel and the threads are ground,not rolled or cut.Try

in Chicago.He deals in Continental engine parts ,but the MH 277 may use the same stud.Measure them before you call him.I also found some studs in an old hardware store in Indy.If you have a noted engine builder near you that restores old engines, they will have a scource for studs.
