This came up a couple of years ago (at Kim's behest, as I recall)- consensus was stay with what we got. I very much prefer this to the "newer" software, for 2 reasons: 1), it stays chronological. I have only limited time on the board, and don't view on weekends- so I need to start at the top, and work backwards until I come to the last post I clicked on, to see everything. The posts with only one or two responses would get lost in the shuffle under the "most recent response goes to the top" format. 2), Most of the "newer" boards use what amounts to the "expand" feature of this board- that is, all responses are in order, and you can't tell who is answering who. I like the fact that you can follow the threads that go off on tangents on this board. Also, Cowman makes a good point- a higher precentage of users here are on dial up, being in the hinterlands, and this format works better for them. Lets not "fix" this board by screwing it up.
