There is a pair of them old, they are 12. If they were boys, they would have had BB guns 5 years ago and would have gotten .22s last year. However, it has been a struggle a little with Mom, so I agreed to wait until they asked. They asked this year. If they like it, they will get other guns, as my dad did for me. They can do hunters ed now, so I'm hoping they do. Even if they never hunt, it teaches them how to safely handle a weapon, how to treat others and their property with respect and how to be responsible. BTW - I think we've done a good job on that already. I welcome my opportunity to teach them safe and responsible weapon useage.
