I sell those carports you see at every used car lot in some towns.. I am going to build my own from pieces of some old ones I have taken down, and I would like to seal the edge seams on the 29 gage roof material which runs sideways to the way it is really supposed to work. There is a 4 foot span between frame bows, and I have seen in heavy snow the sheets will tend to separate and drip some.. Is there anything you guys would recommend for the side overlaps? I was thinking good old silicone sealer from a caulking gun but it is gonna be messy. One metal manufacturere recommends "mastic sealer" whatever that is.. Thanks...and you guys DO rock!;-)
