Ford 8N PowerMaster Propane/Parts needed/rebuilt

We own a Ford 8N PowerMaster propane. The carburator is a Zenith and the regulator is a Bendix, produced by Bendix Aviation. The tractor will sometimes start and sometimes will not. The mechanics state that the regulator needs to be replaced. This is 1 owner tractor and in pretty good shape. My grandfather used to take his pliars and tap on the regulator, in extreme cold weather...the tractor would ultimately start...he purchased the tractor new. Please assist by providing any new parts suppliers, or anyone who can test and rebuild the current parts. Terry J Stengel/Lincoln, Nebraska...402-217-2264
