Ford 3-point loader

I resently picked up a 3 point loader for my 8N.It does not look like the loaders shown in Ford books.The third arm is a telescoping pipe released by a trip lever behind the operator. The problem I see is when the loader is raised and the trip lever is released the telescoping arm bends and touches the draw bar.There is nothing in place to keep the telescoping pole at a constant distance from the lower arms when the bucket dumps. I can't find any model info. on loader, but it doesn't look like somebodies bad invention.
