Ford presently has a recall going on most of the later modle ford Pickups with cruise control (except Rangers) for fire problems caused by the sensor unit mounted on the front of the brake master cylinder. If you opwn one and haven't received a notice on it, you might take your serial number to a dealer for them to check it.
