I live in Ontario right along the border with N.Y. state and see American License plates on trucks and trailers at some local auctions where there are antique tractors and equipment selling. Have heard that there is no problem with taking tractors across the border. Have also heard that there is a big auction around Toronto every year with some Americans bringing their tractor trailers buying the old tractors till they have a load and taking them back across. With the value of the American to Canadian dollar I can't say I blame them. Could be a good profit reselling the tractors.
