I did that but I did not see the end of the rod (fork). I think it came off the fork. It is too small to put my hand from the bottom so I can feel the connection. I tried to see any other place I can get access to it but no luck. The book shows how to connected or replace it but it does not say how to take it off or put it back or how to access it…..funny thing.
