You'll need to get in touch with the appropriate government agency in order to get free chickens, as that is the only source I know of for free stuff on a consistent basis. You will need to establish that you have special needs, which can probably be done by showing them your post. The beauty of this is, after farming your free chickens for a couple of years, you can apply to the government to be paid to quit raising chickens. Of course, you will have to get rid of the chickens you have in order to get into the business of not raising chickens- but that is not difficult, just eat them (after applying for cost sharing for the processing expense). I don't know why people work so hard- they need to learn to just harvest the never-ending largesse of our Uncle Sam. Glad you posted- I think you are on the right track.
