There's no comparison in HP of the 4840 MF, vs. the little Deere 531 in the 7520.

The 7520 is a fair tractor for it's age, but can be costly to repair because massive diassembly is required for many repairs, even a clutch replacement. I have an 8630, which I kept when I quit farming. It served me well for many years, thank goodness, as they are costly to repair, too.

Any older Versatiles or Steigers with in-line 6's for sale in your area?

I think they are the cheapest to keep running of the older 4-wheelers.
