I hate even to get into this but this bashing of the educational system goes on forever. But if you want less than 20% of the population to graduate from 8th grade then we can continue to meet your quoted standard. (Check the stats on graduation rates over the past one hundred years) It is like the quote, "If parents would do their jobs then schools could do their"s!". The essence of that quote is in every school and town report printed from 1820-1980 in the town of Northwood. :>
