Look at the bright side, you still have your $1000+ welder. You were willing to deal, which attracted the "something for nothing" crowd, but you came through unscathed. Unfortunately, also unsold. I have read recently where scammers would mail you a MO that was written for too much, and ask for a refund for the difference. After the refund was given, you would find that the original MO was fake and you were responsible for the refund. (Thanks BustedupCowgirl.) Ebay is a good sales site, but be prepared to pay as much as 15% of the sale price to eBay. Try again, but do not hold the item or allow negotiations. Your price has already taken into account the fact that you wish to move it. First come, first serve. Make sure checks clear before allowing pickup. Tell Mr. "I'll Have the Money Tuesday" to call back on Tuesday. Heck, post it here, just be sure to include your location.
