I also tried several choke cables and found they were either too short or too weak. Then I saw a nice hefty cable , which was a stop cable for a diesel engine and I use them on my tractors for choke cables. They were red with stop on them but when I paint my tractors I paint them black and they really look nice.I've used them on all my Farmall's. Bought it at tractor supply
