I didn't have air horns, but they were just as loud.....If under hood is what you are looking for,try a set (PAIR)of good 6v elect. horns off a old car(not new ones).....I installed a set off a 1940 Ford sedan, on my 12v motorhome with 460 cu. engine....I think I left the 12v horn relay in place.....Don't blow horn long bursts, just short blasts ...the horn is too loud for someone to stand in front of..... The horns have been conected to 12v 0n my truck and then my motorhome....about 30 yrs. Cheep an you will like them....Don
