Yep, that's why I like the 6 pop diesel. Last one I had would run more like a week on a tankful. If I remember right, it is about 80 horse or so.

The heads are quick-attach. If the weeds get too bad in the oats, I'll have to swath 'em and use the pickup head after they've dried out; otherwise, I'd just as soon use the direct cut head and be done with it.

I think this first year I'll just leave the straw chopper off and bale all the straw, since we're starting from scratch again.
