OT: 1984 Chevy truck engine swap

Hey there all you chevy fans have a quick question. I have a 1984 chevy silverado 1/2 ton 4wd automatic. It currently has a blown up 305 in it, but I would like to give it a couple more ponies. Will a 454 bolt in it? What will need done? Engine mounts and such? Also what about maybe a 427? Which is a better motor which is easier? Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
