It would be hard to say what that combine would be worth. I have seen them sell from under a 100 bucks to over a thousand so you are on your own there. A 12-a is a common combine as far as jd pull types go. It is easier to find a 30 but without looking I feel safe in saying that more 12-a's were built than 30's. If you need a canvas that will cost in the hundreds, but I dont recall exactly how much. A nicely restored 12-a combine would make nice addition to any tractor collection and would go with about any two cylinder tractor. If you got a place to put it and some money to burn, make and offer see what happens. Good luck!
