Jon Kinzenbauw (Kinze implement company in Iowa)knows all about swapping different engines into 5020's. I think he'd advise against swapping in a 3208, tho. That is just not as heavy duty an engine as it would take to make it worth while. If you like the 3208, look for an Oliver 2255 or a White 2-180 or 4-150 (4WD) these are very well built tractors that would not cost more then the swap (unless you DIY), and then rebuild the Deere 531 which would keep the collector value and it would run as good, probably lug better than the 3208 anyway. excuse the long rambling post but it intrigued me. Good luck with that, anyway.
