I have a 2004 Dodge 1500 ram, 8' bed, two wheel drive, trailer towing package, automatic, reg cab. 7000 lb Brewster trailer tandam axle, brakes both axles, equalizer hitch with swaybar. Bought a cub loboy with 1000 loader, 2 fast hitch 59 mowers in New York over 500 miles one way. On two lane roads running 50mph pulled nice fuel around 14mpg. On four lane interstate running 80mph had power to spare and got around 12 mpg. This is running with the towing switch engaged locking out the overdrive. Can't say enough good things about this truck, HIGHLY recomend it. Ron
