If you are buying based on weight dont. If you do work in the boon docks there are 1 of 2 ways you use a truck. You use the truck to drive out to the dozer etc or you use the truck to pull coils of wire etc out into the boon dock. If your putting weight on the truck and pulling with it dont worry about the little extra weight of the diesel. If you just use it as transportation to the dozer who cares you have the dozer right? Really 500 lbs wont make an ounc of difference, good agressive tires are what will make you get there or not. The only advantage of a gas vs. a diesel is you can wind htem up a bit more in the mud and htey dont mind as much but weight shouldnt make a difference.
