Ford 8N on break?

Last week I used my 8N to bushhog my fields. I got to work with it instead of working on it. We ran steady for about 3 hours, no problems. This week, I use it to push up wood shavings for our horse stalls and it runs for a few minutes then stops. I was able to restart it before after waiting a few minutes. Now it is very hard to start and at times will not start. I am getting gas to the carb. I need to check for spark but I think i am ok there since it has started. Any thoughts?
