This may sound like a shade tree/redneck fix, but it worked for me. I cut small strips of metal from a tin can to fit in each of the grooves of the splines, put the arm back on, tightened it down and it has held for more than a year now and I use the tractor and loader to move/feed large round bales and move some dirt occasionally. May be worth a try.
