I"ve got one that was made in about 1981. I paid $4500 for it less than a year ago with about 1300 hours and it came with an old 5" howse mower, a 6" box blade and a 3pt boom pole. I love the Yanmar engine. I can bush hog all day long and burn less than a tank of fuel. The engine is certainly strong enough for me. I run out of traction long before I run out of horsepower when pulling the box blade. The only things that I really don"t like are: 1. Transmission PTO (not terrible since it has a built-in ORC). I think later models had a live PTO. 2. Gear drive transmission - that one is really a pain because you have to come to a complete stop to change gears. 3. No power stearing. This hurts because the palmetto roots will cause rapid kickback in the steering wheel if you aren"t careful - ouch. All-in-all, a very decent tractor for the money.
