My son just replaced a set in his 250 this weekend. He got the plugs from the local Ford dealer (about $8 each). You have to remove the air handling plumbing off of the top of the motor and remove the valve covers. Be careful when you do this as the wires run through the gasket. The glow plugs sit between the rocker arms in the top of the head. You will need a deep well socket (10mm I think) to get the old plugs out. Simply remove the wire attached to the plugs, remove the plugs, insert the new plugs and replace the valve cover. It is about a 3 to 4 hour job but the dealer wants about $450 to do this and you can do it with simple tools and a little elbow grease. Good luck.
