Not really a jeep person but you can always pull tire off the other side to see what it should look like. Does the Comanche use a-arms? Seems like you should have at least one A-arm and maybe your shock is really a strut (A combination shock absorber/coil spring assembly that typically is bolted throught the fender well and into the engine compartment. Do you have access to a Haynes or Chilton manual? The parts house should be able to show you an exploded drawing of the front suspension and let you point at what you need (don't have now). Like I said, I'm not a Jeep person so I could be way off on this. Good Luck.
