Dave, the answer is NO. The lettered series tractors like the A had a single barrell carb and a commom intake manifold that served BOTH cylinders. The numbered series like the 60 went to a 2 barrell carb PLUS a manifold that had two seperate isolated intake ports, one for for each cylinder and carb barrell. So, BOTH the carbs and the manifolds are far different. Things that can help reduce plug foulng are: 1) A good HOT spark 2) Use shutters or other types of radiator air restriction etc to get and keep the operating temp up to 180 degrees and over. 3) DO NOT adjust the carb any more richer then necesary. 4) Use a heat range or 2 HOTTER spark plugs (try Autolite 3116 (Styled) or 3077 (Unstyled) depending on which plug size the tractor uses) 5) Insure theres no inlet air restrictions like a cloged air filter or bowl or inlet piping and be sure the choke opens fully and stays open. 6) Avoid long idle periods. 7) Dont use higher octane gas then necessary.
