Phil, Don't get so discouraged; ya gotta remember that these old things are neigh on 30 years old. There are going to be a few issues. If the 656 is the best deal and it is coming from your dealer, he should make it right before you buy. Another thing I'm finding out is that these old gas tractors have one thing in common with the diesels: they don't like to set around idle and they don't like to just putz around doing very light chores. They need to work to stay in shape (like all of us). :>) The Hydro 70 and the 656 are both the same darned tractor; 'bout the only differences are the grill, the build date and the decals. Allan
