You should check and grease wheel bearings on a regular basis. Check for slack in bearings and tighten when neccessary. Always keep tires in balance to minimize wear on the hangers and linkage. This will help in extending the life of the springs as well. I prefer metal floors, but wood is also good if treated. In the past when I spray my concrete forms with diesel I would also spray my trailer floors to extend the life and prevent rotting. I am sure there are products available that can do a better job for you. Most important check lights and brakes everytime you hook up and use safety chains. If you can, also install automatic brake activator if for some reason trailer come off tow vehicle. For my two cents worth. GEO
