One thing I've always hated and avoid like the plague is cigarette smoke. I know people enjoy it, and no problem with that, my mother is a die hard feign, when she lived in an Apt. , I seldom came by, the blue haze was a constant and the paint on the walls turned a tar brown tint from 15 years, here she has a smoking room, but it escapes out and I hate dealing with it. My dad was damn lucky he quit in 1977, every once in awhile over the years later, while having a drink, but the doc told him somewhere around the time he had angioplasti( spelling ? ) no good for his heart and circulatory system, he is lucky to have had minimal trouble so far, had he not been seeing the doc, might not be here today. I know what a grip it has on people, the second hand smoke is the worst, I would avoid relatives and friend homes because of it, the bars used to be the worst, no ventillation or high ceilings for the most part, some with multi floor open space or high ceilings were not so bad, but your clothes would reek after a 1/2 hour, not too mention the sinus problems it causes me. Some people will smoke and live into their 90's and others don't fare so well, then you wonder what happens when a long time smoker up and quits finally, health deteriorates from the new prosperity of no more smoke, how many chemicals, like 400 ? I wonder what tobacco was like when the big companies were not around, naturally grown and dried, could not have been as bad, but who knows, hope anyone that is trying to quit makes it the extra mile, you and the people around you will benefit, me thinks ! ( way O.T. here, still home sick today LOL - but getting better quick, got to get out of the house soon !

Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents. A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
