You read my mind. I've got to order some bucket teeth and do a little repair on the two side mounts yet, then I'm gonna shoot 'er the original DuAl orange with black teeth and black grapple forks. I've always got about three irons in the fire, so should have it all done and mounted back up in a couple of weeks. Yesterday, Ken down in Colorado was saying that they were farming down there already. Might have to put that baler on hold and get inside that rearend of the 966 first as she is gonna be the first out of the starting blocks this spring. I gotta get all that plowing done early while the ground is still wet enough to work. Allan

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
