I am also ready to plant some spuds but I am worried about the weather. Spuds do not do well in heat; that is why we plant them in the cool weather. Problem is weather is not to cool. Afarid the plants will get half way up and the early heat will kill them. This winter has been crazy. We usually have a wet cold (to us) winter but it has been dry and warm. Got to say a lot of people are happy about it though with all the blue house roofs we have around here now.
