It depends on what your hauling--but most of the people I talk t charge 1.00 to 1.50 a loaded mile but most try to get a load back from where the hauld to first!! that way they can make money both ways---Its not an easy to make a living unless you just love to drive. some guys do it cause they want to go to a certain place--so they help pay for their trip--
