I am looking for a good water pump, pulley and fan for my engine. The originals are missing, so I have no numbers to go from. The engine I have is in a '29 AB Mack truck, but it is not the original engine. Although the engine says "Mack" on the exhaust manifold, I have learned that it was made by Continental for Mack, which is why I am asking for help here. I love old tractors and know many of them have Continental engines. Here are some of the numbers on the engine. Engine Crankcase on lower right near oil pan (cast): M600A314 T M 7W Engine Block on forward left side toward top (stamped): FKB-748 Cylinder Head on top (cast): M600A416 Cylinder Head on top (stamped): 14700 FKB indicates that the engine is a model FK which Mack put in some of their lighter duty trucks from 1939-41. It is a 290 cu in 6 cyl L-head engine. I believe pumps from a Mack FM (271 cu in, same years) or Mack FO (253 cu in, same years) will also fit. Equivalent Continental engine models are M6290 (1948-46) for the FK, M6271(1938-46) for the FM and M6253 (1940) for the FO. A likely model truck for the engine to have originated in would be a Mack EF of 1938 - 1941 vintage. I have no idea what brands or models of tractors used these engines, but would greatly appreciate any help any info you could give me that would help me track down the needed parts to resurrect my old truck. I recently saw a Mack EN-330 engine in a 1942 fire truck. The engine looked very similar to what I have but I am not entirely sure the water pump is exactly what I need. It does look close though. The casting number on that engine was M600K20... The number cast on that water pump was M600K500 Please respond through the forum or via e-mail, or give me a call to discuss if you need to. Talk of the Town: How to Remove a Broken Bolt - by Staff. Another neat discussion from the Tractor Talk Discussion Forum. The discussion started out with the following post: "I have an aluminum steering gear housing with a bolt broken off in it. The bolt is about a 3/8" x 1 1/2" bolt. I've already drilled the center of the bolt out with about 7/64" drill bit the entire length of the bolt. Only one end of the bolt is visible. I tried to use an easy out but it wasn't budging and I didn't want t
