I have purchased at least eight computers from Dell. All were purchased from Dell Outlet (used or previously purchased but not shipped). I have not had any problems to date. On one computer purchase a billing error was made. It took several phone calls and yes, I did get to speak to India, however, I asked to be transferred to a customer rep in the US, which was done immediately. I explained the billing error, the Dell rep corrected it and refunded the shipping charges. I hadn't asked for that concession. I also have our local computer tech who can purchase from Dell and resell them to me for equal or slightly less that what Dell charges. Don't how it all works but I do know that I can call him if and when problems arise. Best Buy was good to work with when we had a defective digital camera. Now, I won't buy from a local car dealer, but that's another post. I know different consumers have different experiences with companies. Kevin in Kansas
