I generally use a 3/4", 1100 ft-pound gun. That whips them up tight. IF not, then a 3/4" drive ratchet/bar, with about 6' of pipe, and my 200 + # jumping on that... If the gang bolt is turning in the discs, I'm going to hazard a guess that you have the newer style discs on a 1-1/8" gang bolt. The newer blades have both a 1-1/8" hole, and at 45 degrees to that, a 1-1/4" hole for the larger shafts. To make a long story short, it doesn't take much to round off that bit of metal, and then the discs spin like hula-hoops. My dealer has looked high and low for for the old style discs with the one square hole, and just can't seem to get them.... So, if you can add some washers to yours, and rip them up tight with the impact, you might keep it tight for a while...... HTH. Rod
