Thanks so much for those cow-calf pictures. I go to the screen morning and night now to see if there are some new babies on this site. Just good to see nature at its very best snow amd all. Brings back so many memories of our cow days in Iowa, although some are not so fond. In 1983 we got cold rain and ice for 12 days right when we were really geting calves. Cows got disoriented and wouldn't let the calves nurse plus the udders got caked with mud and the litle guys couldn't eat. We lost 3 cows and 9 calves before it was over and was the start of our last days in Iowa. But the sight of a new calf is still one of the little miracles that make farming the ultimate dream. Hope it stays profitable for you guys so we got some good beef to enjoy here on the west coast. Regards Migraine
